what is hypnotherapy?

an evidence-based, science-backed combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis designed to relax and focus the mind so that client is more receptive to positive suggestions aligned with their goals.

how does it work?

in hypnotherapy, i will count you down into the state of ‘hypnosis’ or ‘trance’. in hypnosis, your brain enters the ‘theta brainwave state’, which is a state of hyper-focus, increased problem-solving, and increased creativity. hypnosis feels similar to daydreaming, and the process feels like meditation, but easier and reaching toward a very specific goal.

how do i know if this is right for me?

there are so many misconceptions about hypnotherapy - one being that many people are not suggestable to hypnotherapy. we all go in-and-out of the trance state every single day - like when we drive down a well-known path or get engrossed in a good book.

so in my opinion, hypnotherapy is right for everyone. but if you continuously hit blocks when trying to make positive change, hypnotherapy is for you!

what makes you a hypnotherapist?

i am IACT certified hypnotherapy and i am in the process of supplementing this certification with a past life regression specific course.

can i work with you if i don’t live near you?

yes! all of my sessions are currently being held via phone/facetime or google meets.


what is coaching?

coaching is a partnership between coach and client where the two come together to define goals, decide what shifts need to be made, and identify milestones that build a realistic path to the desired result. 

what i want to emphasize here is that - you are your own source! i’m here to guide you and ensure that you move into the place that’s meant for you at a pace you feel comfortable with. 

coaching is…

  • client focused and client directed. no one knows you or your life as well as you do. you are the ultimate decision maker and i always, always want to hear from you.

  • not a replacement for therapy. the two can work beautifully together, but please know that one cannot replace the other. our work together will focus on how to take you from your present to your desired future. your past plays a role in this, so we will talk about that too, but deeper understanding and healing is best done with a trained therapist.

  • not for those who are looking for hard and fast advice. instead, we’ll use intentional questioning and thoughtful exercises to help you arrive at your own answers.

what makes you a coach/guide?

i’ve spent my entire career asking deep questions about some of the world’s largest brands to uncover and action on a purpose they can authentically live by.

but i’ve always felt deeper fulfillment in 1x1, human-to-human relationships.

to ensure that i can credibly guide others i’ve been certified through jrni coaching and am currently working towards a certification in the gottman institute’s method for couples therapy.

but at the end of the day, i’m just a fellow human who’s always looking for new ways to learn and grow, and it’s my hope to share all of that knowledge and knowing with you.
